RESEARCH TALENT MENTORSHIP

Research Talent Mentorship at IUSG is a 2-year research mentoring program for MDs interested in uveitis and who want to start conducting clinical research.

The aim of the program is to teach basic clinical research skills by conducting a research project for 2 years. The researcher will gain practical experience in clinical research by designing a study with an IUSG mentor, collecting data, conducting a statistical analysis, drawing conclusions from the analysis, writing a manuscript, submitting it for peer review, and finally, presenting the project at the ISU Congress held every 2 years.

IUSG assigns a research topic and one IUSG mentor to each researcher. Research meetings are held online every 2–3 months. During the meetings, researchers present their projects and receive feedback from IUSG members.
