IUSG COURSE BRUGES

The IUSG has organized in the past a basic course in uveitis. It was aimed at young ophthalmologists who just completed their basic training and who are interested or curious about uveitis. Many have gone on to an illustrious career in ocular inflammation. In one week, a comprehensive overview of uveitis - diagnosis, management, current research topics are covered. Participants are asked to work in small groups to solve enigmas, the emphasis being placed on developing a systematic approach to the evaluation of each case, and the use of multimodal imaging.

The 7th and last course took place in March 2019 in Venice, Italy.

The next course will take place from June 2 to 6, 2025 in Bruges, Belgium Registration will be limited to about 50 participants. Information about the course, course content, and the application procedure will be placed on the website early the fall of 2024.
